About the Role

You spend the majority of your time designing, developing, and maintaining a robust and extendable data base for the corporate reporting and analytics environments of our customers. You will actively take part in the decision-making, planning, and execution of projects that are intended to restructure and enhance the tech stacks and data architectures of our customers.
Requirements
A completed master education such as Computer Science, Informatics, Technical Business Administration or similar.
Ideally minimal fifteen years of general IT-experience and 5 years in a solution architecture role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms.
You know large scale design, implementations, and operations of all industry-relevant database and data storage concepts such as SQL, NoSQL, distributed storage environments, containerisation, data modelling and you are highly interested in upcoming technologies such as Blockchain or digital twin concepts.
You know and are able to evaluate descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions preferably using Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions.
You know design and configuration of data movement, streaming and transformation (ETL) technologies such as Azure Data Factory or SSIS.
You know how to present the Information Architecture in large enterprise through use of industry standard modelling, mapping, management, metadata, lineage and quality standards and technologies such as ERWin or UML.
You know how to work with visualization technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik.
You are highly familiar with source systems like SAP, MS Dynamics 365 or MES Applications.
You are familiar with IoT technologies such as IoT Hub, IoT Edge and Event Grid.
You are used to advise colleagues (unsolicited) about solutions and opportunities that you see. And you like it when colleagues do the same to you.
You get energy from working in a team.
You have excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to contribute as a leading member of global, distributed teams focused on delivering quality services and solutions
You are able to distil complex technical challenges to actionable and explainable decisions
You demonstrate the ability to rapidly learn new and emerging technologies and developing a vision of their suitability and role as a new product within a platform & product landscape
You bring operational abilities including early life support and driving root cause analysis and remediation.
You don't shy away from looking for the unknown without knowing the exact outcome.
You can explain complex issues within your field in an understandable way to a wide audience.
A good command of the English language in word and writing.
Knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage.

Your most important tasks
Designing and maintaining data pipelines, data sets and data infrastructure.
Building and maintaining a highly functional and scalable data architecture.
Setting up and developing the data governance framework.
Contribute to data literacy projects at Kinsman.
Providing in-house training and substantively guiding colleagues in the team.
